1000 wheelchairs, worth some $140,000, were donated by the Agon Shu million-member Japanese cultural organization.

IsraelNN TV joined 87-year-old Seiryu Kiriyama, President of Agon Shu, at a dedication ceremony of the wheelchairs at the Yad Sarah headquarters in Jerusalem. Jerusalem Mayor and Yad Sarah founder – Uri Lopolianski greeted the visitors. Uri Lopolianski needed a interpreter to communicate with the generous guests – but he made sure to end his speech with a goodbye in Japanese - “Sayonara”.
