Worried about the erosion of the Jewish-Zionist character in Israel and related ills? A gathering of like-minded individuals will be held Wednesday in Be'erot Yitzchak.
The gathering will be sponsored by a new group called Kulanu (All of Us), which has made "unity of the religious-Zionist camp" its objective. It will be held Wednesday evening, at 8 PM, in the dining room of Kibbutz Be'erot Yitzchak, between Ben Gurion International Airport and Petach Tikvah.
The organizers of the Kulanu event declare: "If you are concerned by the erosion of the Jewish-Zionist character of Israel, by the loss of strength of the faith-based Zionist public and the dangerous threat to its institutions, by the polls that predict a sharp drop in the Knesset representation of the religious-nationalist parties - and if you feel that this is a moment of national emergency - then come and be a partner to [finding the solution]. Because the State is Kulanu, all of us."
Participating in and leading the event will be rabbis on both left and right - such as Rabbi Elyakim Levanon of Elon Moreh and Rabbi Yehuda Gilad of Labor-Meimad - as well as Religious Kibbutz Movement director Nechemiah Rappel, army officers, and others.

The religious Kibbutz Be'erot Yitzchak (The Wells of Isaac) was founded in 1936 by a group of pioneers from Germany and Czechoslovakia. It was originally located in Pardes Chana and was called Ramat HaShomron, and in 1943 it relocated to the Negev, outside Gaza. Though the area remained in Israeli territory following
the War of Independence in 1948, the kibbutz was destroyed by the Egyptians in an attempt to conquer it. The kibbutz members relocated yet again, this time to their current location in the plains of Lod, near Ben Gurion International Airport.
MKs of the current joint NRP-NU religious-Zionist Knesset list are engaged in negotiations that are expected to lead to the historic formation of a new, united party. The new party is to replace the current four parties currently represented in the Knesset: the National Religious Party, Tekuma, Moledet, Achi. The latter three factions are currently united as the National Union party.
