Delegates from around the world met in Israel recently for a conference on the future of Russian-speaking Jewish communities in the Diaspora. While participants came with a variety of concerns, all were committed to working together and finding solutions for common problems.

Edward Ranko, the president of the American forum, said the delegates discussed diverse communal needs such as social programs for the elderly, programs for children, and art and politics within the Russian-speaking Jewish community.
