Thousands of national health experts recently gathered for the Biomed conference in Jerusalem. The conference promoted medical innovations, and included demonstrations of several new technologies.
Conference organizer Ze’ev Zelig explained that the goal of the meeting was to bring together investors, manufacturers, and start-up companies in the field of medical technology. Israel gives significant support to medical start-ups, he said, and many investors and multinational corporations see Israel as a laboratory where the latest technologies will be developed and tested.
