Pollard was a U.S. naval intelligence officer convicted to a life sentence for passing classified information to a US ally, Israel. He is spending his 24th year in jail in Butler, N.C. while others convicted of the same crime received sentences ranging from two to four years.
"This is about justice," declared show host Jeremy Gimpel. He and co-host Ari Abramowitz called upon Americans and Israelis to act to receive a pardon for Pollard. Pollard's wife Esther was a special guest on the show.
Tuesday Night Live also features live music, what Jerusalemites on the street are saying, and, of course, the live audience.
