Contrary to a rumor that has been spreading around the internet for several weeks, and in response to many who have inquired about this matter from Arutz-7, the infamous Mohammed Atta of the World Trade Center attack was not extradited to Israel for blowing up a bus in the Shomron several years ago. The Justice Ministry announced that a man with a similar name was extradited to Israel for the above crime in 1990, and was later freed, but that he is not the same person.
