Three regional councils in Yesha are holding elections for mayor and town council today. The communities of Beit El, Beitar Illit, and Kedumim are going to the polls to elect new leaders. Elections will take place in the Gaza Coast Regional Council in a few weeks.
In Beit El, six party lists are competing for seats on the town council, while the mayoral candidates are Meir Gross, Ya\'ir Plesser, and Yisrael Rosenberg. Outgoing Mayor Uri Ariel became a Knesset Member last week on the National Union party list.
In Kedumim, the incumbent Daniella Weiss is running against David Menken. Each one heads a party list, and a third party list is also running for the town council.
