Land of Israel activists and local residents took to the hills Wednesday to protest the relinquishing of a chunk of the town of Efrat's land via its being fenced out by the Partition Wall. The activists tried to establish a new Jewish community at the site - called Givat HaEitam. The following are photos from the ascent, the forced eviction and the aftermath:
Activists set out from Efrat's Zayit (Olive) neighborhood toward Givat HaEitam, part of the town that is being left outside the Partition Wall

...and after. The inhabitants of the trashed wagon were reportedly let go much sooner and closer to home than those who behaved. Some were dropped off on the street in Beit Shemesh.
