Communications Minister Ruby Rivlin is considering banning the Qatar-based Arab TV station Al Jazira, because of continuing claims of its unceasing incitement against Israel. Itamar Marcus, Director of Palestinian Media Watch, is against the idea, however. He explained to Arutz-7 today, \"Al Jazira is one of the more high-quality Arab stations, probably the most popular, and is even somewhat open to criticism of things that go on within Arab countries... I don\'t think that banning its broadcasts will accomplish, because the Arabs here have other ways of being incited, such as mosques, schools, Palestinian television, and more. On the other hand, it will prevent us in Israel from knowing what is going on in the Arab world. For us, it is our window on what is going on there in terms of intelligence. We will get them angry and hurt ourselves at the same time, while gaining us nothing.\"
