Jews all over the world continued to pray for Rabbi Elazar Menachem Mann Shach throughout the day. The health of the rabbi, who is over 100 years of age, continued to deteriorate this afternoon, and in fact an announcement of his demise early this evening was quickly corrected and withdrawn. He is hospitalized in the trauma unit of Tel HaShomer Hospital.
