Two other shooting attacks last night: Outside Ganim, in northern Shomron, a Jew was shot near his chest and is listed in moderate condition. Arabs opened fire on the car of a Talmon resident west of Ramallah; no one was hurt. After the latter incident, Talmon residents entered the nearby Arab village of Al-Janya, from where the shots were fired, in protest; the IDF later removed them. Arabs shot at IDF forces outside Kalkilye this afternoon; no one was hurt.



Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has notified the Bush Administration that he may cancel his trip to Washington and Great Britain, originally scheduled for early November. Sharon said that the security developments might require his presence in the country. A final decision is expected within three days. British Prime Minister Blair will arrive in Israel this coming Thursday.
