The Palestinian attacks continue along essentially as they have for the past 13 months. Four members of the Neuberger family from Susia were lightly hurt last night in a shooting between Maon and Susia, south of Hevron; one of them, a 6-year-old boy, is still hospitalized after being hit in the eye... In Hevron itself, Arabs threw two firebombs at an IDF force; no one was hurt… Arutz-7 correspondent Haggai Huberman reports that Palestinians shot last night, for the second time, at the reservoir near Kibbutz Nir Eliyahu just north of Kfar Sava… There was shooting at IDF forces in Kalkilyeh, Jenin, and Psagot… Mortar shells were fired towards the IDF in Ganei Tal and N\'vei Dekalim, and shots in Gadid, all in Gaza south of Ashkelon; no one was hurt, and IDF soldiers returned fire... An explosive pack went off near a group of civilians working at the southern Shechem bypass road. No one was hurt...

A round of shots was fired late this afternoon from Abu Sneineh towards the Avraham Avinu neighborhood in Hevron. Earlier today, shots were also fired at Beit Hadassah from the other Rajoub-controlled hills, Haret A-Sheikh. These mark the 3rd and 4th violations of PA Security Chief Jibril Rajoub\'s promise to maintain total quiet there since he received control of the hills from Israel early last week. The IDF soldiers did not return fire. The Jewish Community in Hevron says that the government must cease telling the public that the \"Hevron model\" has succeeded.

Tzviki Bar-Chai, Southern Hevron Regional Council head, told Arutz-7 today that his area has become a favored target of late for Palestinian terrorists:

\"In the last five days, six cars have been hit here in terrorist shootings. Maybe this is Arafat\'s response to the fact that following the murder of Rehavam Ze\'evi, Hevron was one of the few PA areas that the IDF did not enter... During the first two months of the current war, the IDF acted very cleverly and intensively in many ways to successfully ensure quiet - but after the Peres-Arafat meeting and after the Rajoub-Abu Sneineh agreement, things have deteriorated. It appears that the army, under the restrictions placed on it by the government, is not capable of maintaining the security here... For instance, why have they stopped clearing trees and houses from the sides of roads [behind which terrorists lay in ambush]? ... In short, there is work to do, and I hope that the army will put pressure on the government to give the right orders... I must add that the spirit of the people here is strong...\"

An Israeli-Arab died this morning of wounds he suffered while guarding a Jewish National Fund installation last night. Nothing was stolen from the warehouse, but police say that the motive is unknown and is under investigation.
