The IDF withdrew its forces from the village of Rima during the night, after operating there for less than 24 hours. The army arrested most of the 15 people on its list of wanted terrorists, but was forced to battle Arabs in the process. One of the six Arabs killed during the operation was involved in planning and carrying out the murder of Minister Rehavam Ze\'evi, while others had participated in previous terror attacks, including drive-by shootings and bomb-manufacturing. Three of those who were involved in Gandhi\'s assassination were captured the night of the murder in army and police raids in eastern Jerusalem. Three others, including the murderer himself, are still at large. Contrary to speculation immediately following the murder in Jerusalem\'s Hyatt Regency Hotel, the assassins operated without the help of Arab employees there.
