Palestinian terrorists shot at an Israeli car Sunday afternoon near N'vei Tzuf in Binyamin, lightly wounding two people.
The two wounded victims were Uriyah Arbel, 24, of N'vei Tzuf, who was driving, and Yael Katz. Arbel was evacuated for medical treatment at Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah, while Katz was treated on the scene.
IDF forces that arrived on the scene immediately combed the area in pursuit of the attackers. Eight Kalachnikov bullet holes were found in the car.
A month ago, residents of a different Yesha area, south of Hevron, protested in demand of more serious IDF measures for the protection of the citizens. "We are citizens of the State," one protestor said, "and the IDF must - and can - provide us security. When we are shot at, this is an IDF failure; the IDF must apologize to us and do everything possible to stop it from happening again."
"We will not rest until this matter is solved," the protestor said. "We hope we don't have to implement harsher [protest] measures."
