MK Tzvi Hendel proposed legislation today that would advance the cause of settlement in the Land of Israel. His law would mandate the construction of a new Jewish town in every place in the Golan, Yesha, or the rest of Israel in which a terrorist attack occurs. The construction would have to begin within 90 days. Hendel, well aware of the zero chances his bill had for passage, was happy with the debate that took place on the issue today, and with the fact that it was agreed to turn the proposal into a motion of a different sort. It will be debated in the Knesset House Committee within a few weeks.
