The Knesset House Committee voted today, by an overwhelming majority, to revoke the parliamentary immunity of Arab MK Azmi Bishara. Attorney-General Elyakim Rubenstein had asked for this step in order that Bishara be eligible for prosecution on charges of incitement against Israel in speeches he delivered in Damascus and Um el-Fahm.

The Knesset Law Committee voted to approve legislation that would prevent a terrorism-supporting list from running for the Knesset. Likud MK Yisrael Katz sponsored the proposal.
