Some 15-20 computers were stolen in the raid, as well as state-of-the-art computer equipment. One of the employees told Arutz-7, "I fear that this will not become a very important story, as there has been a wave of such thefts in Jerusalem of late... Neither are the police likely to catch them, as it is assumed that the computers have already made their way to the 'territories' [Judea and Samaria]."

The list of organizations with offices in the Beit Meir building, on King George St. in Jerusalem, reads like a "Who's Who" of religious-Zionist activity in Israel: World Mizrachi, the Hesder Yeshivot Union, Kollel Torah MiTzion, the Mizrachi Education Department, Bnei Akiva, and Yavneh Olami.

The World Mizrachi movement is active in 37 countries throughout the world. Founded in 1902 in Vilna by Rabbi Yitzchak Yaacov Reines, Mizrachi (an acronym for Merkaz Ruchani (Spiritual Center) is an ideological and educational movement. Its ideology is based on the motto Am Yisrael B'Eretz Yisrael al pi Torat Yisrael - "the Jewish People in the Land of Israel living according to the Torah of Israel".

The Mizrachi youth movement, Bnei Akiva, has been active for nearly eight decades. Founded in 1929, Bnei Akiva is the largest youth group in Israel and boasts many branches throughout the country with thousands of active members. The World Bnei Akiva movement is active in 37 countries where it plays an active role in communal youth activities. The World Movement sends 120 shlichim (emissaries) each year throughout the Jewish world, where they work with the members of the movement, teach in Jewish day schools, and in some instances also perform rabbinical duties as well.

The Union of Hesder Yeshivot - post-high school academies that combine Torah study and army service in a five-year program - represents the interests of the hesder students both in and out of the army. Widely known for their highly-motivated and skilled soldiers, the approximately 40 hesder yeshivot include some 6,000 soldier-students. Well over half of those who are drafted annually join combat units.

The Torah MiTzion Kollel program establishes centers - mainly in the U.S. - for the study of Torah, and promulgates the connection between Torah, the Nation of Israel and the Land of Israel. The core of these "Kollels" is made up of young, recent graduates of the Hesder Yeshivot, whose idealism, dedication and scholarship bring them to the U.S. for 1-2 years to serve as role models of the "knitted kippa" generation of Religious Zionism.

Yavneh Olami (World Yavneh) is an international Religious Zionist student organization that aims to inspire, educate and empower Jewish students in the Diaspora to strengthen their connection to Israel and the Jewish People. It hopes to reach the thousands of religious Jewish students around the globe who are the products of a strong Jewish Zionist education yet lack fundamental knowledge about Israel’s history, culture, and politics.

To this end, Yavneh Olami runs high-quality educational programs that focus on hasbara (pro-Israel advocacy), Israel connectivity, leadership development, and Aliyah promotion.

Yavneh Olami head Ze'ev Orenstein co-hosts a new show on Israel National Radio entitled Jewish Campus Radio , intended to strengthen the connection of young Jews on college campuses to Israel and Judaism.
