Four people were wounded - two moderately and two in light condition - when an Arab from Bethlehem opened fire in the Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem. The attack occurred shortly before 11 AM today, when he argued with the garage owner for whom he worked and then shot him. He then ran outside and began shooting randomly at passersby. The would-be murderer was shot to death by a soldier, Ramin Rosenblatt, who happened by. The soldier later recounted that as soon as he heard the shots, he ran outside while loading a clip into his rifle. \"I serve in [Jericho], so I am used to this type of situation,\" he said. \"I felt that it was my duty to save the people around me.\"



A woman from Beit Haggai, south of Hevron, was miraculously unhurt when terrorists ambushed her car with gunfire last night; four bullets hit the vehicle, including one in the front windshield, but she was unharmed. The woman, Orit Katz, told Arutz-7 that the attempted murder occurred very close to an army base. \"Over the past week and a half,\" she said, \"shootings in this area have been a daily routine. It is very, very unpleasant to drive there.\"



Terrorists shot for the fifth day in a row at the Gilo neighborhood of Jerusalem; no one was hurt. A Fatah spokesman threatened today that if the IDF does not withdraw from Beit Jala within the coming hours, \"we will use mortar shells and bullets to impose our own curfew on Gilo...\"

Shells and grenades in Gaza: Arabs launched two of the former towards an army outpost near Rafiach Yam, and hurled four of the latter at an outpost further south. The soldiers returned fire.
