IDF soldiers opened fire at a group of armed terrorists Saturday in the Gaza town of Beit Lahiyah. Two PA Arabs were killed in the gunfight and five were wounded. PA sources claim one of the armed men killed was a PA police officer on his way to work.

Three IDF soldiers were wounded when their vehicle was targeted with an anti-tank missile in northern Gaza Saturday morning. Later Saturday, two other missiles were fired, but failed to cause any damage or injury.

In the PA-assigned city of Kalkilya, in Samaria, three rioters were killed and 30 wounded in clashes with IDF forces Friday night. The rioters attacked a Special Forces unit as they surrounded a building in which wanted Hamas terrorists were hiding out.

The IDF threatened to bulldoze the building the terrorists were hiding in. Bystanders began to hurl Molotov Cocktails and bricks at the soldiers, who responded by firing below rioters’ waists.

Israel’s air force fired a missile at the home of Hamas militia commander Allah Akilan. Akilan’s house is located in the Shati neighborhood of Gaza City, home to Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh as well.

The IDF spokesman said the building was used as a central office and headquarters for Hamas terrorist activity in northern Gaza.

Shortly after, three other buildings used by Hamas were targeted. One was in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, after which several explosions were heard as explosives and weapons stored there detonated. Another was a Hamas charity that helps fund the group’s newly established militias and the last was a training camp north of Gaza City. There were no deaths of injuries in any of the strikes as the IDF warned Hamas officials ahead of time that the sites would be targeted.
