President Moshe Katzav addressed himself once again to the request for a pardon submitted for Margalit Har-Shefi. The President said that he does not consider the request itself to be an undermining of the Supreme Court\'s decision. He said that the request would be considered with utmost seriousness. A protest vigil, the third of its kind, will be held tomorrow morning in front of the President\'s Residence in Jerusalem, demanding that she be pardoned. Har-Shefi is scheduled to begin a nine-month prison sentence this coming Wednesday, following her conviction of knowing in advance of Yigal Amir\'s plans to murder Yitzchak Rabin and of not stopping him. She has consistently denied knowing of Amir\'s intentions. Justice Minister Meir Shetreet (fax number: (+972-2) 628-5438) must approve the pardon request in order for the President (fax (+972-2) 561-1033) to act upon it. If a pardon is not granted by Wednesday, another vigil will be held, under the theme \"We Believe Margalit!\" Participants will meet at her home community in Beit El at 10 AM, and will drive in a convoy to Tirtza Prison near Ramle.
