Palestinian terrorist attacks continued unabated today and throughout the weekend. Security forces found a car bomb in the Shomron near the Arab village of Hawara this afternoon; the car was detonated in a controlled explosion... At 5:00 this morning, Arabs fired two mortar shells at the Katif township in the southern Mediterranean coastal region. One shell exploded adjacent to an Israeli home. The blast left a large hole in the ground and shrapnel damaged an exterior wall to the house... Bombs were discovered in several locations; a third mortar shell towards Jewish towns in Gaza since yesterday was fired this morning; and more.



A bomb was detonated against a passenger bus carrying worshipers to Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem late this morning. The bus driver was treated for shock, but no one else was hurt. The area was closed to Jewish visitors.



A Jewish car was shot at this morning on the Trans-Judea highway, though no one was hurt. Earlier this morning, Palestinian terrorists fired yet another mortar shell on an Israeli community in Gush Katif, Gaza. The usual attacks upon IDF positions in Gaza continued throughout the night and morning, including an anti-tank grenade at soldiers stationed outside Gadid... An explosive device was discovered and safely neutralized by bomb demolition technicians in the Southern Hevron Hills district



Arutz-7\'s Kobi Finkler reports that the attacks continued even as IDF Intelligence Chief Gen. Amos Malka reported to the government this morning on a \"noticeable drop\" in the Palestinian violence.



Contrary to media reports today, the IDF soldiers assigned to guard Arab olive harvesters near Itamar in the Shomron will be protecting Jewish residents from the Arab farmers - and not vice versa. The army is concerned that since the olive trees are within meters of Itamar homes, terrorists may infiltrate the groups of farmers and use the opportunity to perpetrate an attack.
