Due to fires caused by Hizbullah-fired Katyusha missiles, thousands of acres of forest were destroyed across northern Israel. Arutz-7 photojournalist Josh Shamsi surveyed the damage this week.

A forest completely burned by high-temperature fires. The trees are dead and need to be cut down.

A burned bush was completely consumed by the fire.

Even though only the trunk was burned from the severe heat of the brush-fire, the entire tree is now dead and must be cut down.
