Despite the continuing violence, the security cabinet decided on Friday to ease some of the restrictions on the Palestinian population and, even more significantly, to withdraw IDF forces from some of their current positions - including the Abu Sneineh hills in Hevron. It was unofficially reported that the army will leave Abu Sneineh and Haret A-Sheikh, from where terrorists have been shooting almost non-stop at the Jewish homes below them for the past year, tonight. Ten-month-old Shalhevet Pass was murdered, and several others were wounded, in these attacks.
