Senior Hamas terrorist Abdel Rachman Hamed passed through his front door this Sunday morning in KalKilya, just east of Kfar Saba, to begin what he thought would be a routine day of plotting terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians. As he stood in the doorway to his house, a single shot hit him in his head ending his command. PLO sources confirmed the killing, but they could not say from what direction or distance the bullet came. The IDF has not made any official comment.
Abdel Rachman was high up on Israel\'s list of wanted Arab terrorists for numerous atrocities. Amongst them, he prepared and dispatched from Kalkilya the suicide bomber who perpetrated the Tel Aviv Dolphinarium attack on June 1st which claimed the lives of 21 Israelis and wounded over 100. He also sent the March 28 bomber who blew himself up next to a group of teenagers waiting for a bus, killing two and wounding four.
