The relative quiet of the past day was marred early this afternoon when Palestinians fired at a Border Guard police post north of Tul Karem, east of Netanya. No one was hurt. A bit later, a bomb exploded near soldiers in southern Gaza near Rafiach. There were no injuries in either incident.



The body of wanted Hamas terrorist Hani Mustafa A’rahman was found this morning near Shechem. He was in the midst of placing a bomb on a road used by Jews when it exploded in his hands. A\'rahman long served as the right-hand man of top Hamas terrorist Mahmoud Abu Hanoud, and assisted him in perpetrating the Dec. \'99 attacks in Tiberias and Haifa. He was also involved in placing a bomb in Netanya, a shooting attack near Elon Moreh this past April in which one woman was wounded, the wounding of three soldiers two months ago on Mt. Eval in a bomb-and-shooting attack, and the wounding of two Israelis last month at Dir Sharif junction.



Two more wanted Palestinian terrorists were arrested last night, at two different checkpoints in the Binyamin region. The IDF apprehended three Arabs in Hizme, outside northeastern Jerusalem, on suspicion of throwing firebombs at Israeli cars.
