The holiday of Shemini Atzeret / Simchat Torah ended in Israel tonight. For Jews in the Diaspora, the holiday continues for another day ending Wednesday night. In solidarity with the Jews of the Diaspora, it is custom in Israel to hold second \"hakafot\" - an additional night of rejoicing. The second \"hakafot\" are now underway in multiple locations. One of the central celebrations is at the southern Israel community of Elei Sinai, where terrorists infiltrated and killed two persons last week.
