RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and is a system which can automatically alert your computer or cellular phone as news headlines, news briefs or opinion articles appear on the Arutz Sheva website.
The service is free, and all that is required is an RSS reader, which is also available for free download on the Internet.
The following are some of the sites offering RSS readers that can be easily and safely downloaded and installed:

Feedreader - http://www.feedreader.com/
Sharpreader - http://www.sharpreader.net/
RssReader - http://www.rssreader.com/
How do I get started?
Once you have downloaded and installed an RSS news reader on your computer, choose some or all of the following “RSS feeds” and add them to your list of feeds to be informed of new Arutz-7 articles in that particular category. Although RSS readers vary, each should provide instructions on how to add RSS feeds to your list.

The RSS feeds are not the only technological advance made in recent months by IsraelNationalRadio. The Arutz-7 toolbar is being offered free of charge and allows the thousands of internet users who have downloaded it quick access to all four of Arutz-7’s media (IsraelNationalTV.com, IsraelNationalNews.com, IsraelNationalRadio.com and the Daily Email subscription), along with a multi-search engine, through a small interface that docks to the top of one’s web browser. It can be downloaded by clicking here.
IsraelNationalRadio.com’s Virtual Studio has also been improved and is used by hundreds of regular listeners. It enables listeners to get in line, with the click of a button, and wait their turn to talk live on the broadcast to which they are listening. When a listener clicks on the microphone icon in the Virtual Studio, they receive a number indicating where he stands on line, and the show host can then bring him or her on the air. Listeners may thus respond to the words of a Knesset Member, share their opinion on an assertion made by a host, or simply give vent to some of their most idealistic feelings.
The interaction is made possible by the “Virtual Studio” plug-in, which displays internet web pages directed by the broadcasters on half of its interface page, while enabling listeners to chat with one another and with the talk-show hosts as well, on the other half.
Use of the Virtual Studio is free, and dozens of listeners fill the chat room for hours each day, participating actively in the broadcasts.
