The number of terrorist warnings being studied by Israeli security forces rose over the weekend to more than 90, including more than 15 specific terror threats.

Just north of Ofrah, in the Binyamin area of Judea/Samaria, police found four foot-long pipebombs packed with explosives. A similar bomb exploded this morning at a Jewish hitchhiking stand near Shilo, lightly wounding a man. The victim was evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital.

The Israeli Navy foiled another attempted smuggling of ammunition into the Palestinian Authority today. Naval forces manning a Dabur patrol boat spotted a suspicious vessel off the coast of Gaza and fired warning shots at it. The Arabs manning the vessel quickly threw eight bags of ammunition overboard, but this did not prevent their arrest.

A major terrorist attack was thwarted in Shechem today, when a 10-kg bomb was found inside an Arab car, ready to be transported for detonation inside pre-1967 Israel. Israeli sappers neutralized the bomb... Three ready-to-hurl firebombs were found on the Trans-Samaria highway, and were safely neutralized... Terrorist forces in central Gaza shot over the border fence towards an IDF force; no one was hurt... Arab gunmen similarly fired at Israeli forces near Jenin, and a terrorist was killed by the Israelis' return fire... Two Kassam rockets were fired over the weekend from Gaza, and another one this morning. No damage was reported.
