Palestinian attacks continued in Gaza last night and today. Arabs fired two mortar shells towards northern Gaza this afternoon, one of which caused damage to a western Negev moshav (cooperative farm). Terrorists also shot and threw at least one grenade at IDF posts near N\'vei Dekalim and Rafiach; no one was hurt. Earlier, they shot at Kibbutz Nachal Oz, on the pre-\'67 side of Gaza.

An IDF force thwarted an apparent attempted murder this afternoon. The soldiers caught several Arabs in a weapons-laden car on a dirt road leading to Jericho; one of the weapons was a rifle. A suspicious car carrying four Palestinians did not stop at a checkpoint south Hevron when ordered to this morning; IDF soldiers fired and wounded the passengers, including one seriously.

IDF and Border Guard sappers safely neutralized several pipe bombs found in the Shomron this afternoon: one on the ascent to Mt. Eval near Shechem, and two nearby earlier today. Palestinian terrorists placed four bombs on the road to Ganim, in northern Shomron, over night; two exploded harmlessly, and two were safely dismantled. Traffic to Ganim was shut down for most of the day.
