During the period recognized by Israel as “relative quiet” in the terrorist war against Israel, the following attacks were recorded:
An IDF post north of Ramallah and the industrial zone of Nevei Dekalim in the south came under terrorist gunfire. In addition, grenades were thrown at IDF posts in Nevei Dekalim and near the Rafiach border crossing to Egypt. Gunfire was directed at IDF troops near the town of Gadid, as well. A Border Police patrol was the target of a firebomb attack from the Arab town of Shuafat.
