Ahead of the upcoming Passover holiday, members of Israel National News Arutz-7 staff took part in baking matza - the unleavened bread eaten over the week-long festival.

Water and flour are kept in two separate rooms. From the moment they are combined the dough is continuously kneaded.

Israel National Radio's Yishai Fleisher handles the preliminary mixing and kneading.

Israel National Radio Senior Technician Binyamin Nakonechny kneads the dough on the "finner" - one of the matza-preparing tasks requiring muscle.

News Editor Ezra HaLevi divvies up the kneaded dough, creating circular pieces and passing them on to the rollers.

Senior News Editor Hillel Fendel and others roll out the matzas as thin as possible.

Israel National Radio webmaster Dan Paley runs matzas through a rolling machine.

Israel National TV's Mark Kaplan rolls as well.

Aliyah Revolution Show host Go'el Jasper uses a "reddler" to puncture the matzas as Marketing Director Alex Traiman arranges them on poles to be placed in the oven.

Director of English Arutz-7 Baruch Gordon mans the oven. The matzas spend about 45 seconds in the oven and must be monitored closely.

Hillel and Shmuel examine the finished matzas - dividing up the best of them and discarding burnt or raw ones.

In between each 18-minute session, all the equipment is scrubbed down to prevent even the smallest bit of dough from becoming leavened, rendering the matza chametz.

The matzas are divided amongst the bakers at the end of the night - making sure each person receives at least three whole unbroken matzas for use at the seder.
