Israel has issued a warrant for the arrest of Marwan Bargouti, the head of the Fatah in Judea and Samaria. Israel has also made an official extradition request to the PA, asking for his transfer so that Israel may question him regarding his involvement in two terrorist attacks over the past several weeks. A Greek Orthodox monk was murdered in one of the attacks. Bargouti is wanted for aiding in a murder, aiding in attempted murder, and conducting military exercises. Bargouti says that he is a political leader, and is not involved in attacks.
