According to the British Telegraph, Iran has spent millions funding the Hizbullah terror group's building of control towers and monitoring stations along the entire length of the Lebanon-Israel border.

The new control towers are built of reinforced concrete and bulletproof reflective glass. Many of them are less than 300 feet from IDF positions and are clearly visible.

"This is now Iran's front line with Israel," the Telegraph quotes a senior Israeli military commander as saying. "The Iranians are using Hizbullah to spy on us so that they can collect information for future attacks. And there is very little we can do about it."

The Telegraph also quoted officials who report that teams of Iran's Revolutionary Guards regularly enter southern Lebanon to train local Hizbullah terrorists in guerilla tactics.

Additionally, Iran has recently supplied Hizbullah with improved weapons and ammunition – including heavy mortars and rockets with a 30-mile range.

Israel withdrew from the "security zone" in southern Lebanon in 2000, during the Premiership of Ehud Barak.
