Hundreds of Jewish worshipers participated in Rosh Hashanah prayers at the Machpelah Cave over the two-day holiday of Rosh HaShanah yesterday and the day before, but outside, Arafat\'s armed terrorist forces were attacking Hevron\'s Jewish community almost non-stop. The shooting began from Abu Sneineh while Hevron residents were walking to prayers early Monday evening, and continued for several hours. The attacks resumed late Tuesday afternoon, and again yesterday, from Abu Sneineh and the Harat A-Sheikh hills. Bullets whizzed over the heads of passersby, inexplicably causing no casualties, and Israeli troops returned fire. This afternoon, too, the attacks continued when Palestinians threw an explosive at an IDF force.
