President Isaac Herzog expressed concern over the issue of US aid to Israel, saying the announcement that it was being stopped had come as "a bolt from the blue."
Herzog noted that the US-Israel Memorandum of Understanding on military assistance is set to remain in effect until 2028, and stressed the need to form a government and avoid another round of elections.
