During the consultations at the President's Residence, Ram Ben Barak, a representative of the Together party, said that the President opposes political boycotts.
Herzog replied: "Absolutely. I think ruling people out politically is one of the biggest mistakes we have made as a nation." He added that such exclusions deepen divisions within Israeli society and "only tear the nation apart."
