The Likud party accused Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara of attempting to cover up and obstruct the investigation into suspected foreign interference in the elections.
According to Likud, Baharav-Miara is preventing the Shin Bet from conducting the investigation, contrary to the position of Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg.
Likud claimed that her actions were part of a recurring pattern and also accused Gadi Eisenkot, Yair Golan, and leaders of the left-wing bloc of incitement against senior security officials. "They must not be allowed to cover up the truth and bury this serious affair," the party said.
