IDF and Border Police forces are currently conducting counterterrorism operations in the city of Hebron and surrounding villages as part of an offensive operation involving the Duvdevan Unit, the Paratroopers Brigade, the Search and Rescue Brigade, and the Judea and Samaria Border Police.
A full closure has been imposed on the cities of Hebron and Halhul, and dozens of roadblocks have been established throughout the area. The forces are preparing to expand their offensive operations. Meanwhile, the Maglan Unit has been deployed to reinforce counterterrorism and defensive operations in the Judea Regional Brigade's sector, and land-clearing operations have begun to demolish illegal infrastructure at the site of the terrorist attack.
The operation is being conducted under the command of the Judea Regional Brigade commander, in coordination with the Judea and Samaria Border Police, the Civil Administration, and the Israel Police's Judea and Samaria District.
