A 19-year-old resident of Hadid was arrested on suspicion of assaulting activists from the Democrats Party during a political event in Shoham.
According to police, the suspect allegedly spat at the activists and struck them with a metal bar and a helmet. Police have opened an investigation, and the suspect is expected to appear in court on Thursday for a hearing on extending his detention.
