The Education Ministry expressed sorrow over the death of Elazar Yair Wilensky, a ninth-grade student at the ORT Ma’alot yeshiva high school, who was killed during a school trip in northern Israel.
Teams from the Education Ministry’s psychological counseling service are providing emotional support and assistance to students, families, and educational staff in hospitals, educational institutions, and the community. At the same time, the ministry instructed schools to hold age-appropriate discussions in classrooms and identify students who may need support following the incident.
