The Finance Ministry has published a draft order for public comment that would reduce the excise tax on gasoline by 50 agorot for one month. The public comment period is expected to end this coming Sunday.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich is then expected to sign the order, subject to a review of the comments submitted. Once the minister signs the order, it will take effect, and gasoline prices at gas stations will be updated at midnight between Sunday and Monday.
