Daniel Umansky, 14, was the Israeli boy killed Friday morning when a Russian drone struck his family’s home in the Pechersk district of central Kyiv. His mother was injured and evacuated for medical treatment.
The family had previously immigrated to Israel but returned to Ukraine about 20 years ago. Israel’s consul, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, and Chabad emissaries are assisting the family.
