Sean Ward, the suspect who carried out the shooting attack near the Sons of Jacob synagogue in the town of Belleville, Ontario, died of his wounds in the hospital.
Ward was critically injured in an exchange of gunfire with Officer Jeff Smith on Yom Kippur Eve. The officer was seriously injured and is in stable condition.
