Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that a return by the United States to its commitments would make it possible to put matters back on track and bring the current situation to an end.
At the conclusion of the first day of discussions at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, Araghchi said that the talks also addressed the US war and its consequences. He noted that the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding was raised in every meeting.
“It is a memorandum signed by the presidents of the two countries and violated by the United States. The US must return to its commitments," he said.
