Firefighters and volunteers are working to contain a wildfire that broke out near the community of Afeka in the southern Hebron Hills.
The Israel Fire and Rescue Authority said a large fire is advancing through woodland toward residential homes, driven by strong winds. Firefighting aircraft and additional crews have been dispatched to the scene.
