The United States Armed Forces used long-range Rockwell B-1 Lancer bombers during Tuesday's strikes on targets belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran, according to a report by Axios citing U.S. officials.
The report said this marked the first time the United States has deployed B-1 bombers in the current round of fighting with Iran, which resumed 12 days ago.
