Stealth aircraft that were in Israel returned to US

The US military today relocated the squadron of stealth aircraft that had been stationed at Ovda Air Base back to the United States. The 12 F-22 aircraft that were withdrawn arrived in Israel in February ahead of the launch of Operation Lion’s Roar.

The stealth jets took part in strikes against Iran alongside Israeli Air Force fighter aircraft. After five months in Israel, they have now begun their return journey to the US, accompanied by refueling aircraft and with a stopover in Britain.
