Director of the Mossad, Roman Gofman, announced today (Thursday, 11 June 2026) his decision to appoint 'Aleph' to the position of Deputy Director of the Mossad and Head of the Operations Directorate.
The appointment was approved by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
'Aleph' served in a variety of roles at the heart of the Mossad's operations, and possesses expertise, experience and deep institutional knowledge. 'Aleph' will assume the position immediately.
