Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation has announced the complete and temporary closure of the country's airspace. This decision follows coordinated Iranian strikes across the region and the subsequent activation of air defense systems over the kingdom.
According to the official statement issued by aviation authorities, the immediate closure of the skies forced numerous international flights already en route and preparing to land at Kuwait International Airport (KWI) to be diverted in real-time to alternative destinations in neighboring countries.
