The Knesset plenum passed the "Eastern Conflict Zone" Tax Benefits Law for communities in Judea and Samaria overnight in its second and third readings, with a majority of 32 in favor and 23 opposed.
Under the law, significant tax relief will be granted to communities located east of the security barrier and at a distance of more than two kilometers from it. The benefits will apply retroactively from January 2026 through the end of 2027.
